55 Social Bookmarking Sites to Promote Your Blog Articles

Thursday, May 25th, 2006

If you would like a quick and easy way to submit your latest entry in your blog, social bookmarking sites are a good place to start. Many of these sites will show your site on their home page as soon as you submit it. It’s up to everyone else that uses each of these sites whether your site stays there or gets buried.

Don’t bother submitting your latest blog article if you plan on spamming. You’ll do nothing but irritate everyone and they will quickly flame you and nuke your story. They may even show up on your doorstep. :) Well…let’s hope not. Anyway, you know the drill - provide high quality content and if it’s good enough you may find yourself getting bombarded with traffic. What’s good enough? Well, perhaps check the section of each of these sites to see what is popular.

You will need to register for each of these sites before you can submit anything. And without further ado….here is a list of 55 social bookmarking sites I have compiled. If I missed any, feel free to leave a comment and let me know.

Chris Pirillo Switches to WordPress

Wednesday, May 24th, 2006

chrispirillo.jpgI’ve been so busy with other stuff lately that I haven’t been checking some of my feeds and other blogs I usually visit. When I went to see what Chris Pirillo was up to I noticed he has switched to WordPress. I’ve only messed around with Blogger and Typepad but have a pretty good feeling WordPress is the way to go these days. Per his suggestion, I’m going to try installing the “World’s Best WordPress” plugin and see what all the fuss is about. It will be very interesting to watch how he continues to pimp his blog.

The web hosting services are increasing as the number of pay per click ppc options are multiplying. The cheap web hosting is an option for dealers who can’t afford the costs behind search engine marketing. Thus website hosting through channels is selected though it does not promise effective search engine marketing. With the coming of wireless internet search engines are being accessed all over the world in businesses and jobs increasing the workload of search engines.
